Horrible customer service!

I called tonight for a deferral on my payment, it would be my last one, the 6th. I was always told that I have until the end of my lease to pay these fees and have used this service many times over the years.

Tonight, I spoke with an Hispanic woman who I could hardly understand, who told me that because of the fees that I already had accrued weren't paid off that I would not be able to use my last deferral. Has things changed regarding this? I am very upset about this issue as I've been a Ford credit customer for 22 years and have never been treated like this when I have called customer service.

I can't remember her name, but I'm sure the logs could be checked to find out who she is. Once again, she was Hispanic and I couldn't hardly understand her she was very very rude and I believe what she told me was an out right lie!

Greed Greed Greed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I used to be a loyal FORD ONLY customer- never shopped anywhere else for years.

In July of 2009 I suffered a fall off of a roof and was severely injured. At the time I was a self employed Builder.

I required multipole surgeries and was not able to work and tole by my surgeon I would never use my right arm again. I struggled during the recession in 2008 as everyone did and somehow managed to keep my truck and payments. With this accident, I had zero income for months. The only thing Ford would do is add 2 months to the end of my term.

I basically begged the local dealer and Ford Credit to help- I simply could not make payments let alone feed my family.

They refused any help at all and I finally told them I had no choice but to voluntarily surrender the vehicle. I was told to drop off at any location and dropped off at a local used car dealer and provided them all information. This was Jan of 2010- the truck sat there through a very harsh winter for 6 months before Ford finally picked it up. Months later I was back to work and I was suddenly hit with a garnishment and a judgement for basically the entire amount of the loan.

They never provided any information about what they sold the truck for, recovery etc. I was blindsided. Garnishments continued and somehow I managed to get back on my feet again through hard work and ambition. I was able to get the garnishment to stop and thought this entire issue was behind me until now.

Ford has now appeared out of no where and placed a hold on our Checking and savings accounts just a few days before Christmas. I would also add our home was directly hit by Hurricane Ian and we are still waiting to have our roof replaced and over $100,000 in repairs. Our insurance paid about 1/4 of what we need- that was in the bank which Ford has been allowed to place a legal hold on. Ford is absolutely the lowest form of anything human left on this earth.

Not only have they blocked our funds at Christmas time- they took the insurance money needed for repairs to our home.

I would also like to add I had at least 6 previous loans or leases paid in full with Ford prior to this.

Anyone and everyone who works for this company should be completely ashamed of themselves- nothing but a perfect example of American Greed. ...

Absolute garbage customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have never had an issue with any of the ladies Ive spoke with on the phone. What I have had an issue with is Ford credit dragging their feet through every step of the way during this lease transfer process.

They send everything through snail mail. They have FORGOT to include the papers I need to sign. They tell me they will email me documents but never do. They are just nickel and dimming me at this point while I wait for them to send the correct documents.

This has been going on for MONTHS and I always get some new *** response. They are helpful on the phone then proceed to never follow through!

Ford Credit refuses to negotiate early payoff

I owe $11,000 to FMC with zero interest and would like to negotiate a payoff but Ford Credit will not cooperate. So they'd rather keep $11,000 on the books at ZERO interest rather than negotiate say $10,000 that they can put at a rate of interest that actually makes them money. I've tried twice and have been stonewalled each time . Robert Arizona

Deceased Account Fraudulent Practices

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My husbands grandfather bought a 2016 Ford F-250. Extremely nice, brand new truck.

It was $568 per month, with no credit/death insurance, as b/c of his age, he wouldnt qualify. Hubby told papa how much he loved the truck. Papa said, well son, Im probably not going to live long enough to pay it off, but Ill leave it to you in my will if you want it. At that time, we were doing pretty well financially, but never able to fully repair our credit.

Then 2020 happened and like almost everyone else, we lost our jobs (well, he had to close his business). Papa ALMOST lived long enough to pay it off, but passed away of the rona a few months ago. Everything was in order, as far as the will was concerned. He had legally left it to my husband.

We tried getting it refinanced, b/c no way we could afford the $568 payment. Hubby called the deceased accounts department and spoke with Edna Whatley, who told him it could be handled as soon as she received the will/death certificate. I faxed it to the email provided within a few hours on a Friday (I have proof in the form of sent emails). Beginning Monday morning, he called her direct line multiple times a day, every weekday.

No answer. He left voicemails also daily, to which Im a witness. No return calls. He called various numbers, only to be told they couldnt talk to him as he wasnt account holder.

Explain hed already faxed what they needed for that purpose, but in a shocking turn of events, they couldnt locate any of it. Daily phone calls/voicemails, emails, can I speak to your supervisors lead to the truck being repossessed on a Saturday morning, from our home, 2 counties away from papas address. Now, how exactly did they find out where we lived? The truck didnt have GPS tracking on it, bc papa had immaculate credit.

The only thing I can figure is that they received our communications, but decided if they didnt ACKNOWLEDGE they received them, they could resale the truck for book value of 30k, rather than accept our payoff of 7k, and b/c of the circumstances, we couldnt fight it. This is NOT about having/keeping a truck. This is about sentiment. Papa wanted my husband to have the truck and weve done everything WE needed to do in order to make that happen.

Greedy fmcc decided they could make twice the profit, easily b/c of papas death. Simple. Im praying they dont try to get away with it.

We would win in court, hands down, but papas truck will be sold to someone else in the process, and that would be OUR loss, b/c buying another truck with the settlement, is still another truck, not his papas. That wont stop our lawsuit, however, requesting emotional damages for going through with sale, even though weve done everything necessary by law.

To have the date of auto payment changed back to the third of each month

My car payment was not taken out of my Chase account as usual on the third of each month. I listened to my online statement saying my car note payment would not be due until January 24, 2022. I have my payment taken out when I receive my Social Security on the third of each month. Please return my car payment date to the third of each month like it has been since I started paying on the lease. Thank you so much. Brenda Lundy 1/3/2022@3:06 pm EST.

I called in to ask for help, due to my wife getting Covid back in February, she was in a coma for 3weeks and in rehab for another 2 weeks. She has still not gone back to work due to the side effects. She has been out of work since and may never go back. We are fighting to get her permanent disability with help of advantage 200. But Im the only source of income right now and I cant cover all the bills, I was just asking to delay a payment or two so I can get all the other bills caught then start working on the car payment.
